Starting in the school of engineering only to discover a lifetime career in education - Urban Youth Center, North Street - Bike riding around campus and Vermont - Brass Choir with Dr. Robert Wigness (An inspiring, caring professor, whose example and mentorship were a model to emulate) - ‘Stereophonic Brass Choir Gabrieli performances in Ira Allen Chapel - VISTA Program - University Day Care Center

43+ year commitment with 73’ UVM partner: 4 children, multiple pets and two busy careers Memories and Accomplishments: - Blue Grass Festivals - Shaving a beard and being discovered by experimental program alumni. - Burlington School Board (Recruited by then Mayor Sanders) - Ethan Allen Child Care Center, teacher, director - Multi-age 1st/2nd grade teacher, Middlebury VT - Lawrence Barnes School Principalship, North Street - Moving to ‘Manchester by the Sea’ (MA) - Director of District and School Services, WestEd - Retirement with live long friend and 73’ graduate
Post-Graduation Traditions?
Periodic anniversary visits to Burlington, Red Rocks Park, and UVM surrounds which inevitably include driving by old apartments and favorite spots.
