Favorite UVM Memory
Joining Kappa Alpha Theta and finding sisters. Living on Mason 5. Witnessing and being part of changes: end of curfew, allowing women to wear pants to class, supporting the transition to a better Winter Festival weekend, marching up the hill to Gutterson to protest the war. Great classes and hockey games, of course.
Highlights
UVM made possible a rewarding 33-year teaching career that spanned first graders to college kids. Being able to raise my family in here Vermont was a privilege. A retirement job with the census bureau. Now, doing genealogy, having fun with a new sisterhood of wonderful women in many groups, enjoying grand-kids when I can!
