Ali Javed
Ali uses machine learning and other computational methods to address the challenges presented by big data in the environmental and hydrological science communities to improve understanding of hydrological storm events and guide future research and policy. Ali is a Fulbright alumnus and received an MS in Computer Science from the University of Vermont. His research interests include deep learning, machine learning, and information retrieval.

Jeremy Matt
Jeremy Matt, P.E. is a Ph.D. student in Complex Systems and Data Science. He earned degrees in Electrical and Civil Engineering after which he joined the Peace Corps in Romania and worked as an environmental engineer for 9 years. Jeremy's work as an environmental consultant focused primarily on contaminated hazardous waste site investigation and redevelopment.
